1 cup water
1/2 cup LifeField Buckwheat
pinch of salt
Prepare LifeField Buckwheat according to basic recipe instructions on package. Set aside.
Tomato Dill Soup
5 large tomatoes
1 large onion sliced
1 large clove garlic halved
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
3 sprigs fresh dill (cut up)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1/2 cup cold water
12 oz. chicken stock
3/4 cup cream
- Peel a. slice tomatoes into a saucepan.
- Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper, dill, tomato, paste and water. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Transfer to container of electric blender. Add chicken stock and cream to mixture. Turn on high and blend for about one minute.
- Chill. Stir in cooked LifeField Buckwheat. Serve garnished with chopped dill.
